Caring for the elderly in their own homes.
The assistance we can provide may be something as simple as taking the person shopping, or doing their housework for them once a week; it may involve helping them on a daily basis with meal preparation or personal care; or it may encompass full-time live-in support, seven days a week.
Most homecare providers specialise in either daily visiting care or weekly live-in care. Audley Homecare offers a fully managed homecare service, comprising both daily visiting care and full-time live-in care.
From our Head Office in Little Chesterford, we offer daily visiting care within a 10 mile radius of Saffron Walden, which covers the district of Uttlesford , as well as the fringes of South Cambridgeshire, North East Hertfordshire and South West Suffolk.
We also offer 24-hour live-in care throughout Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Visiting Care and Live-in Care – What are the differences?
Visiting care – Your loved one doesn’t have to have visiting care every day, or even at the same time every day
Visiting care – With visiting care, your loved one may receive up to 3 separate visits on any given day, typically between the hours of 7am and 9pm
Visiting care – The main emphasis with visiting care is on accomplishing a pre-arranged set of tasks, such as washing, dressing and food preparation, within a pre-agreed timescale
Visiting care – With visiting care the care staff have a regular “round” of visits to a small group of clients at pre-arranged times.
Visiting care – There is less scope to be flexible and change timings and activities from one day to the next
Visiting care – Visiting care is arranged by the hour
Visiting care – Our visiting care service is within a 10 mile radius of Saffron Walden
Live-in care – With live-in care, a care assistant moves in with your loved one in order to keep them safe 24 hours a day
Live-in care – The emphasis with live-in care is on providing all-round care, support and companionship
Live-in care – A specialist provider will be able to provide live-in care for whatever period is required, from as short a period as a week. Shorter periods of live-in care than a week will fall into the separate category of “overnight care”
Live-in care – Because it is full-time, 24-hour live-in care involves a greater financial outlay than daily visiting care
Live-in care – Visiting care will usually only offer an interim solution, whereas 24-hour, live-in care is often a viable long-term alternative to residential care
Live-in care – Our live-in care service covers Essex, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Suffolk
