Our visiting care clients

Visiting careThe homecare service we provide is mainly, but not exclusively, for older people who need some regular assistance to help them maintain their independence and continue living in their own homes

The clients you will be helping live in Saffron Walden itself, or in one of surrounding villages. They require friendly and reliable visiting care at various times of the day to help them with the activities of daily living. This can be anything from shopping and light housework through to help with meal preparation and getting washed and dressed at the start of the day and getting ready for bed at night. Within next to no time, you will become a highly valued member of your clients’ daily routine and for many of them you will become their lifeline.

Make a difference to someone’s life in Saffron Walden and surrounding villages.

Our induction training is second-to-none and you will be further supported every step of the way in your daily work by our highly experienced management team.

During your three month probationary period they will help you acquire the knowledge and skills you will need to gain your Care Certificate, which is the nationally accredited and mandatory “driving licence” you will need to launch your career in care.

Your will have regular opportunities to discuss your progress with a more experienced colleague and you will be actively encouraged to develop your knowledge and skills and gain further qualifications in care, beyond the basic Care Certificate, via our innovative “cloud learning” programme
